Main draw action at the world’s premier 14 & Under tournament, Les Petits As, gets underway today (Monday 6h September).
A ‘Super Category’ Tennis Europe Junior Tour event, Les Petits As is celebrating its 39th edition. Played on indoor hard courts, the event has been rescheduled from its traditional January calendar slot due to the pandemic.
As ever the event features an exceptionally tough draw. 18 of Europe’s Top 20 boys will be in action including #1 Maxim Mrva (CZE) and European Champion Nikola Djosic (SUI). The girls’ event features 17 of the Top 30 players, led by the prodigious Yeva Galliievska (UKR), a winner of three 16 & Under titles already this season.
Both draws also contain a squad of leading American talents, many of whom are competing in Europe for the first time.
