What do Gael Monfils, Martina Hingis, Linda Noskova and Novak Djokovic have in common? They all ended the year ranked as a Tennis Europe #1. The players topping this year's list have recorded some remarkable achievements in 2026 as they follow in their footsteps:
Boys 14&U: Richard Mitchell (SUI) was a silver medallist at the European Junior Championships and at Les Petits As, won the Super Category singles title at Avvenire, and two Super Category doubles titles (Maia and Avvnire).
Girls 14&U: Mariia Kocherzhenko (UKR, pictured) ended the season in style with a Junior Masters title, capping a consistent year which also reaped a silver medal at the European Junior Championships, a Super Category title at Avvenire and a runner-up spot at Super Category Stockholm.
Girls 16&U: Lydia Panagiotidou (GRE) won two of the most prestigous events on the Tour: the Junior Masters and the Super Category Rome tournament. She also defended two singles titles – in Thessaloniki and Larissa, and was runner-up in doubles on three occasions.
Boys 16&U: Blazej Krzysko (POL) and Mark Jony (HUN) ended the year tied on 1,370 points, marking the first time that the year-end ranking is shared between two players. Coincidentally, it was the very last match of the season that decided the matter, as the two faced off in the final of the Junior Masters. Krzysko won, enabling him to level on points. As you might expect, their performances throughout the season were markedly similar: both players won one event, and finished runner-up at two others.
