From Junior Masters Champion to the Mouratoglou Experience

Tennis Europe’s next Unlocked webinar will offer young players, parents and coaches a behind-the-scenes look at high-performance tennis, as Tea Kovacevic shares her experience of an exclusive training week at the Mouratoglou Academy. The webinar will take place on Thursday 27 August at 19:00 CET, with Tea joined by Quentin Mege, High Performance Programme Coach at Mouratoglou Academy.

At just 16 years old, she has already established herself as one of Europe’s leading young players. The former European 14 & Under Champion and two-time Tennis Europe Junior Masters Champion earned the opportunity to train at the Mouratoglou Academy through her success at the Junior Masters, Tennis Europe’s prestigious season-ending event for the leading 14 & Under and 16 & Under players, held at the Monte-Carlo Country Club.

Ahead of the webinar, Tennis Europe followed Tea during her week at the academy, offering a glimpse into her training and the high-performance environment.

During the live session, Tea will reflect on the week in more detail, including what surprised and challenged her, the lessons she took away from the experience and how it influenced the way she approaches her game. Quentin Mege will provide the coach’s perspective, discussing what high-performance coaches look for in promising young players and the role of mindset, discipline, confidence and everyday habits in long-term player development. Together, they will explore some of the realities behind elite junior tennis and offer practical insight for ambitious young players, as well as parents and coaches supporting them through their development.

The conversation will be moderated by Tennis Europe Media Manager Yannis Blackburn, with participants also having the opportunity to submit their own questions during the webinar. Five participants who submit a question will win an official Tennis Europe Performance T-shirt.
