On 2 December, the ITF and Tennis Europe successfully hosted the annual European Officiating Conference, held online for the second time (the first time was during the COVID pandemic). 51 delegates representing a total of 34 Tennis Europe member nations were in attendance.
The virtual format allowed leading officials from across the region to benefit from the latest updates delivered by the ITF Officiating Team, led by Regional Officiating Officer for Europe Ivan Martínez Barredo, as well as insightful contributions from the Tennis Europe team. Several countries were also able to join the conference for the first time, including participants from Iceland, Malta, Moldova and Montenegro.
The interactive discussions on key officiating topics underscored the ITF & Tennis Europe’s shared commitment to strengthening and elevating officiating standards across the continent.
