Tennis Europe and the Turkish Tennis Federation have confirmed that the European Senior Club Championships will return to Antalya later this year.
The event will take place over a two-week period, as follows:
30/10/23 – 04/11/23: Men & Women 30, 35, 40, 45, 50
06/11/23 – 11/11/23: Men & Women 55, 60, 65, 70, 75
For a second year, the Megasaray Tennis Academy in Antalya Belek will host the event. The 121,000m2 luxury beachside resort also contains a spa, aquapark, beach access, multisport facilities and world class restaurants and bars, making it an ideal location for an extended tennis break.
The unique competition sees national winner and runner-up teams in each age category compete to become European champions. In their absence, another national team may step in as substitutes. Entries for the 2023 edition are now open (Entry Form Men | Entry Form Women). National tennis federations are invited to submit their entries by the deadline of 31st August.
The 2022 competition saw ITF World Tennis Masters Tour ranking points awarded for European Senior Club Championship performances for the first time. 81 teams from 17 nations and produced a series of notable results – among the headlines were the host nation sweeping the titles in the new 30+ category, RCT Barcelona (ESP) winning a seventh European title overall (women’s 35s), and St. George’s Hill fielding former Davis Cup champion and ATP Top 20 doubles player Dominic Inglot as part of its winning team.
