The Ultimate Tennis Showdown begins this weekend, promising to revolutionise the ways in which the sport is played, watched and consumed.
The new league from Patrick Mouratoglou is designed to appeal to a young audience. Played at Tennis Europe’s partner Mouratoglou Academy, the UTS will feature ten of the sport’s brightest stars, who will compete in 50 matches over the next five weeks.
New Rules
The round-robin event will feature a range of new and interactive features. Inspired by e-sport, fans watching via live streaming will be able to interact with players during changeovers. On-court and video coaching will be permitted.
Matches will be played with a faster format, and a relaxed code of conduct means players are free to express themselves on court.

Players confirmed for UTS1 include Stefanos Tsitsipas (GRE), Dominic Thiem (AUT), Matteo Berrettini (ITA), David Goffin (BEL), Felix Auger-Aliassime (CAN), Benoit Paire (FRA), Richard Gasquet (FRA), Lucas Pouille (FRA), Alexei Popyrin (AUS) and Dustin Brown (GER).
