A total of 64 national teams took part in the qualifying rounds of the 2019 edition of the 14 & Under European Summer Cups, which were held at eight venues across the continent from 30th June - 2nd July.
The winner and runner-up from each qualifying group (highlighted in red) progress to the final rounds in Murcia (boys) and San Remo (girls) from 5-7 July. France (boys) and Czech Republic (girls) are the defending champions.
This age category of the Summer Cups also serves as the European qualifying event for the ITF World Junior Tennis competition. Future Davis and Fed Cup champions including Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, Kim Clijsters and Amelie Mauresmo all won their first international team events at the Summer Cups.
For 2019, Tennis Europe introduced some important changes to the ranking system. Players can now count their two best team events towards their Tennis Europe Junior Ranking. Points have also been introduced for performances at qualifying rounds. For more information, click here.
