129 top players from 35 Tennis Europe member nations are in Oberpullendorf, Austria to participate in the European 18 & Under Championships from 14-20 September.
Celebrating 50 years of the competition, the Championships have a distinguished history, with 13 singles and 14 doubles champions going on to become world No.1. Carlos Moyá, Martina Hingis, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Barbora Krejฤíková are among the former champions to have lifted the European title.
The tournament is also part of the ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors as a J300 event, offering players valuable ranking points alongside the chance to become European Champion. This week, a new generation will look to add their names to the competition’s Roll of Honour.

The European Junior Championships celebrate a major milestone this year, marking 50 years of the competition. The MEHRLEBEN U18 European Junior Championships powered by Finanzfuchsgruppe return to Oberpullendorf this week, bringing together some of Europe’s leading young players to compete for the prestigious 18 & Under titles.
The boys’ draw is led by Thilo Behrmann (GER), who arrives in Austria after an impressive season at the junior Grand Slams. The German reached the semifinals of the US Open Juniors and the quarterfinals at Roland Garros. He is followed in the draw by Dimitar Kisimov (BUL) and Flynn Thomas (SUI), who will also be among the leading contenders for the title.
In the girls’ draw, Germany’s Emily Victoria Eigelsbach takes the top-seeded position, followed by Adelina Lacinova (LAT) and Lujza Beviz (HUN). Also returning to the European Championships is Anna Pircher (AUT), who lifted the 16 & Under trophy last year and will now look to add an 18 & Under title to her record.
There are some other familiar faces in Oberpullendorf, including Tereza Hermanova (CZE), Barbara Kostecka (POL) and Lana Virc (SRB).
