The latest edition of the Tennis Europe Training Camp Series concluded successfully in Chisinau, Moldova, after bringing together talented young players and coaches from across Europe for six days of intensive training, education, and international collaboration. | Photo Gallery
Held from 20–25 July at Moldova's newly opened National Tennis Centre, the camp welcomed participants from Albania, Cyprus, Ireland, Kosovo, Moldova, and Romania, who benefited from a comprehensive program designed to support their long-term development both on and off the court.
Led by Aleksander Jürgens (Estonia), the camp featured a dynamic mix of technical and tactical training sessions, match-play scenarios, physical preparation, and educational workshops. Throughout the week, players were encouraged to develop not only their tennis skills but also their decision-making, communication, and understanding of the modern game in a positive and challenging learning environment.
The camp also provided an excellent platform for coaches to exchange ideas, observe training methodologies, and strengthen cooperation between Tennis Europe member nations, reinforcing the collaborative spirit that has become a hallmark of the Training Camp Series.
Hosted by the Moldova Tennis Federation, the event showcased the country's impressive new National Tennis Centre, providing participants with first-class facilities and an outstanding environment in which to learn and compete.
Following the success of previous camps in Prostějov, Tallinn, and now Chisinau, the Tennis Europe Training Camp Series continues to offer valuable international development opportunities for Europe's most promising young players, while helping national federations work together to raise coaching standards and support player progression.
Next stop: Tsakhadzor, Armenia
Applications are now open for the next Tennis Europe Training Camp, which will take place in Tsakhadzor, Armenia, from 27 September – 4 October 2026.
The camp will be hosted at the Tsakhadzor Olympic Sports Complex and will precede two Tennis Europe Junior Tour Category 2 12&Under tournaments, giving participants the ideal opportunity to combine a week of high-quality preparation with international competition.
National Tennis Federations are invited to nominate one boy, one girl, and one coach, with places allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Tennis Europe encourages all eligible member nations to take advantage of this unique development opportunity and submit their nominations to be part of another exciting week of learning, collaboration, and international tennis development in Armenia.
