Tennis Europe Training Camp concludes in Tallinn

The latest stop on the 2026 Tennis Europe Training Camp Series successfully concluded in Tallinn, Estonia, where 14 promising players from across Europe gathered for a week of high-level training ahead of the Tallinn Open.

Held from 23–28 June, the camp welcomed 14 players (7 girls and 7 boys) representing seven nations: Estonia, Cyprus, Greece, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, and Poland. The initiative forms part of Tennis Europe's ongoing commitment to supporting player development by providing valuable international training opportunities in the lead-up to key events on the Tennis Europe Junior Tour.

Throughout the six-day programme, participants took part in intensive on-court sessions, physical conditioning, tactical workshops and match play under the guidance of Ruben Neyens, who led the camp throughout the week. Players benefited from a well-structured training programme that combined technical and tactical development with competitive match play, providing excellent preparation for the upcoming Tallinn Open, a Tennis Europe 14&U Category 3 tournament.

The camp also provided participants with the opportunity to train alongside peers from different countries, strengthening international friendships and fostering the exchange of knowledge and experiences in a truly European environment.

The Tallinn camp follows the successful Tennis Europe Academy in Prostějov and continues a growing series of development camps that provide young players with access to quality coaching, competitive preparation and an international training environment.

Coming Up...

The next Training Camps in the series will take place from 19–26 July in Chisinau, Moldova, at the country's brand-new National Tennis Centre, and in Tsakhadzor, Armenia, at the renowned Olympic Sports Complex. Both camps will once again provide players with a week of high-quality coaching and international training ahead of accompanying Tennis Europe Junior Tour tournaments.

Applications for both camps are still being accepted, and Tennis Europe encourages all eligible Member Nations to take advantage of this valuable development opportunity by submitting their nominations as soon as possible. Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability.

Tennis Europe extends its sincere thanks to the Estonian Tennis Association, the local organising team, coaches and volunteers for their excellent support in hosting the camp. We also express our appreciation to Ruben Neyens for leading an excellent week of training, and congratulate all participants on a successful camp. We wish every player the very best in the Tallinn Open and throughout the remainder of the 2026 season.
