A total of 18 players – evenly split between boys and girls – from nine different nations are taking part in this year’s camp. Underlining the diversity and reach of Tennis Europe’s development initiatives, the group includes athletes from Andorra, Armenia, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Estonia, Ireland, Malta, Moldova, and Türkiye.
The boys participating in the 2026 camp are Alex Capdevila Da Costa (AND), Samuel Gevorgyan (ARM), Emil Aleksiev (BUL), Nikos Mountis (CYP), Robert Tamm (EST), Sam Irwin (IRL), Gianluca Pace (MLT), Bogdan Vasile Cazaus (MDA), and Aras Yalcinkaya (TUR).
They are joined by the girls’ group of Emma Escoda Rodriguez (AND), Arina Melilkyan (ARM), Karla Barzakova (BUL), Aleksija Strika (CYP), Joanna Toomiste (EST), Aryia Pringle Quinn (IRL), Milena Zanoci (MDA), Pippa Cutugno (MLT), and Sen Ece (TUR).
The Tennis Europe Academy Training Camps are designed to support the transition from national to international level, offering players a unique opportunity to work with experienced coaches in a high-performance environment. Previous editions have brought together players from across the region to combine on-court sessions with off-court education, fostering both technical and personal development and are timed to coincide with the start of the European clay court season.
Aside from regular training sessions and sparrings, under the tutelage of TC Prostejov's highly experienced team of coaches, the players enjoy sessions supervised by world-renowned experts David Kotyza (former coach of Petra Kvitova, Lucie Safarova, Karolina Pliskova, and Linda Noskova) and Jaroslav Navratil (for 25 years captain of the Czech Davis Cup team with two titles, Lucie Safarova’s former WTA coach).

This year’s camp also marks the beginning of an expanded programme involving training camps in 2026. The Tennis Europe Academy is the first in a series of such camps due to be staged throughout the year, often in conjunction with Tennis Europe Junior Tour events, providing players with increased opportunities to train, compete, and develop in an international setting.
Further information with an invitation to participate in the upcoming Training Camps will be shared with eligible member nations soon.
With a strong focus on collaboration, learning, and performance, the opening camp sets the tone for what promises to be an exciting year, as Tennis Europe continues to assist in nurturing the next generation of European tennis talents.
