Tennis Europe & Mouratoglou Academy renew partnership

The European Tennis Federation and the Mouratoglou Academy have announced a two-year extension of their pioneering partnership.

The #1 tennis academy in Europe, nestled in the heart of the French Rivera, is the first and only academy to be officially endorsed by Tennis Europe. The Mouratoglou Academy offers 12-hectares of sport paradise, including 34 tennis courts, 4 padel courts, 4 swimming pools, a 4-star hotel, a spa, a country club, 2 fitness centres and an innovative sports medicine centre.

Under the terms of the new deal, the Academy will host a Tennis Europe Coaches’ Conference and will provide exclusive one-week training camps with full board to talented Junior Tour players from emerging nations.

Since the two organisations began collaborating in 2016, the Mouratoglou Academy has hosted several Tennis Europe Junior Tour events, the final rounds of the regional team event for 12 & Under players, the Nations Challenge, and the 2018 Coaches’ Conference.

Many of the Junior Tour’s most successful players have been spotted and trained at the Mouratoglou Academy, under the mentorship of Patrick Mouratoglou, including the likes of Stefanos Tsitsipas, Coco Gauff, Holger Rune and the Fruhvirtova sisters, Brenda and Linda. The best professional tennis players like Daniil Medvedev and 23-time Grand Slam Champion Serena Williams, who’s been coached by Patrick Mouratoglou for the last 10 years, have made it their training ground to perfect their games and prepare for tournaments.

Tennis Europe President Ivo Kaderka said, “We are honoured to continue our collaboration with the world’s greatest tennis academy for a further two years. Our organisations share a passion for developing players and advancing the sport and I’d like to thank Patrick and his team for the ongoing support for Tennis Europe and in particular our Junior Tour.”

“It is a real pleasure for us to be extending this great partnership with Tennis Europe and to be able to collaborate on many events together. For the last 25 years, I have dedicated my career to discovering, developing, and nurturing young talents, so I’m grateful to Ivo and the European Tennis Federation to have trusted us with this partnership.” explained Patrick Mouratoglou.
