Junior Masters Players Revealed

The strongest ever player-line up has been revealed for next month’s Tennis Europe Junior Masters.

Due to be held at its new home of the Monte-Carlo Country Club in Monaco, the Masters brings together Europe’s top 14 and 16 & Under players for an elite season-ending competition.

For the first time, both the boys and girls 16 & Under fields feature all of the Top 8 ranked players in the Race to Monte-Carlo. The 14 & Under fields are just as strong, with ninth-ranked Nikola Djosic of Switzerland also in the boys' line-up by virtue of his European Junior Championships win in Most in July.

The 32 players to qualify have combined to win an incredible 91 singles titles and 983 matches on the Tennis Europe Junior Tour in 2021. 17 nations will be represented: Russia leads the list with 8 qualifiers, followed by Czech Republic (5), Poland (3), Germany and Slovakia (2 each). Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, Greece, Hungary, Lithuania, Netherlands, Romania, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland and Ukraine are all represented by one player. Full details of the qualified players can be found below.

The Masters will take place from 13-15 October and will be hosted by the Monegasque Tennis Federation. Matches will be streamed live for viewers of the Tennis Channel in Austria, Germany, Switzerland and UK.

Former world #1s Kim Clijsters and Rafael Nadal capped their best seasons on the 14 & Under circuit by winning the event in 1997 and 2000 respectively, while players such as Andy Murray, Alexander Zverev, Simona Halep and Belinda Bencic are all former medallists.
