The 12 & Under Festival is a new event for the best European players, hosted at the Rafa Nadal Academy in Mallorca. For the first time, the top players of this age category are to be awarded with a fantastic season ending tournament to crown the 'Festival Champion'.
The Festival will invite winners of Category 1 events* held in 2021, providing hotel and hospitality for all participants. In addition to a range of side events during the tournament, the boys' and girls' champions will receive a free one-week stay at the Academy.
The unique format of the 32-draw singles event will see the winners of eight round robin groups advance to the quarterfinals, ensuring optimal match play for all participants. Players will also team up for a doubles competition.
The event will take place from 15th – 20th November and will be played on hard courts. Situated in the Mallorcan home town of the 20-time Grand Slam champion and former Tennis Europe Junior Masters winner, the Academy has hosted many high-calibre international events, including ATP Challenger and ITF World Tennis Tour tournaments.
