Entries Open for the European Masters Championships

Entries are now open for the 2026 European Masters Championships, inviting Europe’s best senior players to once again compete for continental titles across all age categories.

The Championships continue to grow year on year, with the 2025 edition in Budapest marking the largest European Masters Championships ever. Hosted by the Hungarian Tennis Federation at the National Tennis Centre, the event welcomed a record 478 players from 25 nations, competing across 65 events and playing a total of 656 matches during a memorable week of tennis.

For the first time in the event’s history, a Men’s 90s category was included, ensuring full representation for age groups from Over 30 to Over 90. The level of competition was exceptionally high, with all singles draws featuring at least one ITF World Tennis Masters Tour Top 10 player, including four current world No. 1s.

Players from 16 nations claimed the 24 singles titles, led by Germany, France, and the Netherlands with three titles each. Several champions stood out, including Peter Djukic (M35), Clemens Wenhandl (M50) and Marc Renoult (M70), who successfully defended their titles from 2024. All women’s singles categories crowned new champions, underlining the depth of the competition across the draws.

With 1,000 ITF World Tennis Masters Tour ranking points awarded to each singles champion, a European Championship gold medal remains one of the most prestigious prizes in senior tennis.

Following the 2025 edition, which was broadcast worldwide via live scoring and streaming on the Tennis Europe website, the 2026 European Masters Championships promise another exceptional week of competition and high-level tennis. Entries are now open, and players are encouraged to secure their place early in one of Europe’s premier senior tennis events.
