The Race to Monte-Carlo 2023 is now on!

The Race to Monte-Carlo 2023 has officially begun. All players from Tennis Europe member nations are now eligible to qualify for the next edition of the Junior Masters.

Europe’s top 8 boys and girls aged 14 and 16 & Under have the opportunity to compete in the spectacular season-ending tournament held at the Monte-Carlo Country Club, also home to the ATP Masters 1000.

Race points can be gained at all Tennis Europe Junior Tour events between now and 14 days before the start of the 2023 edition. For more information about how to qualify, click here.

The Junior Masters offers a unique experience, guiding the players into their professional careers, as former champions include players such as Kim Clijsters, Rafa Nadal, Alexander Zverev and Belinda Bencic can attest. Zverev recently told us, “The Masters was always a special event, you really felt you were part of the elite group, the best juniors.”

  • 2022 has been a record year for the Tour, with 460 events held in 44 member nations.
  • This represents a 12.5% increase on pre-pandemic tournament numbers (395 in 2019)
  • Over 11,000 players have taken part in Junior Tour events in the last 52 weeks
  • 2023 Calendar: tournaments are now online from January to March 2023.
  • The period includes 14&U Super Category events in Tarbes (Les Petits As) and Stockholm (Kungens Kanna & Drottningens Pris)
  • Two 16&U Super Category events will be staged in 2023 for the first time. They will take place in Milan (Avvennire) and Warsaw (Bohdan Tomaszewski Cup) in June and August respectively.
  • It’s easier than ever for players to enter and withdraw from Junior Tour events. Thanks to our new, mobile-friendly website, players can enter, withdraw and sign-in to events directly from their mobile devices.
  • The 12&U Festival takes place next week in Manacor, Spain. Stay tuned for all the action including live streaming of the season ending event for elite 12 & Under players from Monday.
