Two blockbuster finals are set for Sunday at Les Petits As, the world’s leading 14 & Under tournament. The girls’ title showdown pits the Tennis Europe Junior Tour’s top two players against each other, while the boys’ final illustrates the depth of the field, as the 11th and 13th seeds face off.
Coming in as the Tour’s leading players, this is the powerhouse final between Linda Fruhvirtova (CZE) and Sofia Costoulas (BEL) that everyone wanted to see. Both players are on a high, displaying scintillating form on route to the final with neither having dropped a set. #1 Fruhvirtova will go in with a slight psychological edge, as she holds a 2-0 head to head lead over Costoulas and will be hoping to add the singles title to the doubles crown she claimed yesterday alongside her sister Brenda.
