Junior Masters Players Revealed

An exceptionally strong line-up for the 2012 Tennis Europe Junior Masters has been revealed. The season-ending event is open to the Top 6 players of the Race to the Masters rankings, plus the winner and finalist of the European Junior Championships.

The Tennis Europe Junior Masters will take place in Reggio Calabria (ITA) from 5-7 October.

14 & Under Boys

Mate Valkusz (HUN)

Ranking: #2  (Race to Masters), #5 (14&U)
2012: Won 2 singles (Eching, Pécs) and 5 doubles titles (European Championships, Szazhalombatta 16&U, Piestany, Zagreb, Kosice).

Denys Klok (UKR)

Ranking: #4  (Race to Masters), #6 (14&U)
2012: Won 4 singles (Renningen, Development Championships 1&2, Mytischi) and 3 doubles titles (Renningen, Development Championships 1&2).

Samuel Sippel (GER)

Ranking: #5  (Race to Masters), #4 (14&U)
2012: Won 2 singles (Regensburg 16&U, Rakovnik).

Marko Osmakcic (SUI)

Ranking: #2  (Race to Masters), #5 (14&U)
2012: Won 5 singles (Stockholm, Zagreb, Belgrade, Oetwil, Rijeka 16&U) and 2 doubles titles (Stockholm, Belgrade).

2012: Won 1 singles (Barcelona) and 1 doubles title (Barcelona), plus played on the winning Spanish European Summer Cups team.

2012: Won 3 singles (Birkerod, Frogner, Copenhagen) and 4 doubles titles (Frogner, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Pajulahti). Qualifies by virtue of his runner-up spot at the European Junior Championships.

2012: Won 5 singles (Piestany, Maia, Kosice, Warsaw 16&U, Gothenburg 16&U) and 3 doubles titles (Piestany, Maia, Gothenburg 16&U). European Junior Championships runner-up.

Tereza Mihalikova (SVK)

Ranking: #5  (Race to Masters), #8 (14&U)
2012: Won 2 singles (Belgrade, Trencianske Teplice 16&U) and 3 doubles titles (European Championships, Maia, Milovice)

Anna Kalinskaya (RUS)

Ranking: #11  (Race to Masters), #20 (14&U)
2012: Won 1 singles (Solin) and 3 doubles titles (Zagreb, Hasselt, Tirana 16&U). Late entry following the withdrawal of Viktoria Kuzmova.
