2016 Tennis Europe Coaches Conference powered by Polar

The 2016 Tennis Europe Coaches Conference powered by Polar will be held at Tennis Vlaanderen's HIgh Performance Centre in Antwerp, where the event will be hosted by the Royal Belgian Tennis Federation, it has been announced.

The event, which is for leading coaches from Tennis Europe's 50 constituent national tennis federations, will take place from 19-23 October, coinciding with the inaugural ATP European Open in Antwerp, and will focus on the theme of 'transitioning successful juniors into professional players'.  

Key speakers so far confirmed for the event include former professional players Magdalena Maleeva and Christian Ruud, Peter Frey, Head of the Swiss Tennis Academy, Belgian experts Paul Wilemann and Keon van Riet, and Dermot Sweeney of the International Tennis Federation. Further speakers are being finalised and the complete programme will be published in early July. 

Member nations have been sent the initial event fact sheet and entry information.
