Tennis Europe has announced that the European Senior Club Championships will return to La Manga Club in Spain later this year.
Europe’s premier team event for tennis clubs, the Championships are held for men and women of all age groups, from 35 & Over to 75 & Over, and are open to clubs from all Tennis Europe member nations.
Entries are encouraged from all clubs with ambitions of winning a prestigious European title. Priority is given to the winners and runners-up of national club championship events, though additional clubs can also enter, subject to eligibility.
This year’s event will be held over two weeks: Age groups 35 to 55 & Over will play during the week of 16-21 September, while the most senior age groups (60 – 75 & Over) will compete from 2-7 December.
The event returns to its popular home of La Manga Club in Murcia, Spain, the official resort of the European Tennis Federation. The award-winning destination offers a wealth of facilities including a range of accommodation options, three 18-hole golf courses, fitness, spa and wellness facilities and top class gastronomy.
