The seventh edition of the European Beach Tennis Championships will be hosted by the British Lawn Tennis Association and held at the Yellowave Beach Sports Centre in Brighton, from 8-10 August.
The event returns to Brighton after a successful first visit last year, when over 120 players took part. The world's top four-ranked players contested the men's final with Marco Garavini & Alessandro Calbucci adding the European title to their ITF World Beach Tennis Championships win a fortnight previously.
Second seeds Flamina Daina & Michaela Zanaboti claimed the women's title, while Daina & Garavini also teamed to win the mixed doubles (pictured). Italian teams have dominated the first six editions of the tournament, winning all gold medals so far.
Each of Tennis Europe's 49 member nations may enter a maximum of 2 Men's, 2 Women's and 2 Mixed Doubles teams. The entry deadline is 6th June, 2014 and all entries must be sanctioned by the national tennis federation.
