The Lawn Tennis Association of Great Britain (LTA), the International Tennis Federation (ITF) and Tennis Europe have announced that the European Beach Tennis Championships will be held in Brighton on England’s south coast for a second consecutive year.
The seventh edition of the event will be held during the weekend of 8-10 August at the city’s Yellowave Beachsports Centre.
The European Championships is a closed event at which players representing Tennis Europe’s 49 member nations compete for men’s, women’s and mixed doubles titles. Last year’s competition saw Italy continue its dominance, winning all three titles for a sixth consecutive year, including a victory for the men's world #1s Alessandro Calbucci & Marco Garavini (pictured).
