Defending champions France were the first team to qualify for the final rounds of the 2010 Tennis Europe Winter Cups, posting a 3-0 victory over Israel at home in Cholet. Czech Republic beat Romania 2-1 to top the weekend's other qualifying zone in Bucharest. The two other qualifying zones will be held during the weekend of February 12-14, with the final rounds following a week later (19-21) in Ronchin, France.
