2010 Copa Del Sol - 14 & Under Boys

France beat Poland to win the Copa del Sol title for a third consecutive year, wrapping up a 3-0 win at the final rounds in Magaluf, Spain.

The French team had been in dominant form throughout the competition, despatching teams from Netherlands, Ukraine, Denmark, Hungary and Great Britain without the loss of a match on their way to the final.

The championship decider followed the same pattern, with the defending champions quickly establishing their dominance thanks to 63 61 win for Johan Sebastian Tatlot over Kamil Majchrzak in the opening rubber.

French #1 Quentin Halys then sealed the victory with a 6-0 6-2 over Phillip Gresk before returning to the court Baptiste Daubigney to complete a routine doubles win that extends France's record as the most successful team in the history of the Copa del Sol, with an 11th title.

The Polish team will gain some consolation from the knowledge that they have secured a place at the ITF World Junior Tennis competition in August.

32 nations entered the qualifying competition, which was held in Royan (FRA), Sassari (ITA), Cluj Napoca (ROU) and Magaluf (ESP).
